Dr. Westgard was given the 2003 Professor Alvin Dubin award for Distinguished Contributions to the Discipline and Practice of Clinical Biochemistry. The National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry presented the award to Dr. Westgard during the AACC meeting in Philadelphia.
